Fresh Design
The design team took Oricred’s existing branding and extended it into a new, fresh look and feel.
We created a user-centric website design that incorporated strong figurative imagery alongside enhanced visual elements to reflect the company’s outcomes in the market.
Interactive Framer Build
Due to the time constraints, we opted to develop the site using Framer, which would give us the best control when it came to creating a highly visual and impactful site without heavy reliance on custom code.
Entrance Animations
Sections, images and titles expand in on load and scroll.
Striking Hover States & Rollovers
All buttons and clickable blocks change state when hovered over, utlising a combination of movement, colour changes and icon animations.
Animated Dropdown Hover Menu
Each item on the main navigation bar triggers an animated, clickable mega menu dropdown.
'How it Works' Animated Scroll-Lock
Screen locks on scroll to reveal an animated visual representation of the process from application to funding.
Embedded Forms - Monday.com
As client had already setup a variety of complex application forms, our best and quickest option was to pull these into the site using iframes to ensure a seamless customer management flow integration.
Impact
Since launch, Oricred, serving as a vital lifeline for businesses that are often overlooked by rigid traditional banks and Development Finance Institutions, has unblocked cash flow to SMEs by making funding decisions in a short space of time without requiring established credit records.
They've ensured supply chain continuity by enabling suppliers in sectors like construction, logistics and manufacturing to procure materials and pay their own workers, significantly reducing execution risk.
All in all, they've helped to inject over R1.5 billion into SME development across South Africa, funding township and rural enterprises, and assisting in job creation and local economic growth.
